 Is getting to ride non stop Strider Bikes at a concert on a beautiful evening in June!  

Again and Again and Again

 Last Sunday was the type of day we could put on repeat and live it over and over again.  It was so fun.  THe fam took a 30 mile dirtbike ride/picnic together.  

 Dash was all smiles on his mom's moto.

 Dash climbed up the King the other day with some buds and rode the lift back down.  

Beast of a day...

 YEsterday was a big one.  A big crew tackled the infamous "Around the Rock" 160 mile ride that goes Victor, ID up to Grassy Lake Road, over to Flagg Ranch, down to GTNP, then to Wilson, WY, and lastly, up and over Teton Pass back to Victor, ID.  We left at 6 am and hammered all day.  

 Pretty sweet views on the rails to trails section just before Ashton, ID.

 Epic.

 And then I put away my phone due to a really fast pace for the next 130 miles and then things turned rugged.....As in it started snowing sideways on top of Teton Pass in June and it was 27 degrees and cold.

Building this pump track was one of the best things I have done in a while.  Daily entertainment. 

It broke....

The five day stint of rain broke tonight and it felt like the tropics!

YEa, tonight's ride was a stormy mess.

Rain, Rain, stay for a while.

The bike paths have been a bit lonely of late with two straight days of rain.  Dash and I snuck out for a small window of dryness.

Too long...

 Selling a moto, ongoing non stop house chores, being a dad, other outdoor interests.......blah, blah, blah.  Bottom line, I hadnt been on a moto since a fall desert trip.  WEll, that changed today, and damn it, why did I wait so long?  Woa, so much fun was had.

 THe crew managed a pretty solid circuit of the lower half of the valley last Tuesday.

Dash is pretty into riding "mommy's dirtbike' these days.  Can't say as I mind......

 Dash had a bud named Jack over for a play date last weekend complete with dirt biking and smores!

It has begun.

 LOTOJA prep has started.  While the race might still be a full three months off, it is a test that can not be crammed for.  So....., my bike bud Charlie and I are back at the leave town at 515 am on Friday's scene again.  It is early, but it is awesome.

We got to meet Tucker Happe the other night while on a layover down in SLC.  Couldnt be happier for all of the Happe tribe for their new lil guy.

What a bar

 Our last evening in Mexico we went down the street a bit to what was perhaps one of the more eclectic and awesome bars we have ever been too.  The bar was a VW bus, the bartender was a midget, the drinks were outstanding, and the views were tough to beat.  

 And then we rode bikes home.  Good stuff.  

A most fitting end to a perfect vacation.
