Ahh the middle days of river trips are truly a sweet thing, when you dont have a care in the world except to have as much fun as humanly possible.  

S. Flower hotsprings are so so good. 

Could have stayed here at this lunch spot forever.

Daily hikes were nice. 

Not all was smooth sailing.  We got hung up plenty.

The Middle Fork

I had been putting in for years and years and finally hit the lottery permit jackpot last summer and landed a much coveted (less than 1% chance) permit for the Middle Fork in prime time (middle of July).  We rolled 20 people deep for 8 days and had an amazingly awesome time.  We stayed at a buds ranch on the way over in the Copper Basin.  Gas'n up in Mackay ID.
