Rec center envy

 Dash and I cruised down to Pinedale to scope their rec center down there.  Well, all I can say is......., I really, really wish that Teton County had something similar.  It is such a kick ass facility in every sense of the word.

Transitions

 Eventually, it will all melt and we will rejoice.  Hard to believe how much snow we still have on the valley floor. Normally this time of year it is all but gone down low.

 This lil project took me a few hours and a few beers the other night.

Had a full threshold effort at the PPP last weekend on the bike.  Think I am still sore!  

A first.....

 The good ol hillclimb.  Always, always entertaining.  

 The local women's roller derby team was selling hot dogs on top of the King.  We of course indulged!  

 And Dash skied off the summit for the first time!  

 Until the steep part and then he got a lift down from his mom!

Skiing with three generations is a very cool thing indeed.  "Pops" was in town, it was warm, the snow was super fun, and memories were made!

This time of year can be a nice thing... work wanderings

 Pics from a day last week that started with a dawn patrol ski mission, ended with a dawn patrol outdoor (first of the year) bike ride, and then a full day of work sandwiched in between.

 It turns out sled decks can be used for other such fun thing including.....a jumping platform into big snow banks.

 We found a pretty new sweet sled hill the other day!

 Lift served skiing at the King is ending this upcoming weekend......, just when we were really starting to dig it darn it!  

Weekend vibes

 Good times had by all this past weekend seeing music, hanging with buds, skiing, eating hot dogs, etc.  

Let it come....

Patiently awaiting spring around these parts.  

My boy

 I feel so darn lucky getting to drive and pick up this sweet lil man to school on my way coming and going from work each day.  It is a true treat.

Taking the ski line less visited this week on the King.

Happened to get on Lotoja's site yesterday in the hopes of helping to remember when registration started, and low and behold....., saw a picture of myself and Charlie sprinting for the line last year after 210 miles of battling.  

So nice!

 Had a dandy of a day last weekend.  Just the fam, sun, relative warmth, it was memorable.  

 First time Dash was actually willing to wear sunglasses.

 Important to travel with the right equipment.

 So good getting to see in town and out of town buds last weekend!
