We ski too!

There have been some complaints from the ski crowd that the blog is a little snowmobile heavy of late. Chels and I try to go skiing together every Wednesday at Snow King on our lunch breaks. Here are a couple of shots from today.

Chels you are leading the jury, counsel

While I was sleeping last night, Chels the night owl sabotaged the democratic voting process for the stache. It pains me that someone would go to these extraordinary means to get what they want.

Thus, here is another picture glorifying the beauty of the stache. That is, the stache in action, while working up on the ski hill a couple of weekends ago. It has come in much fuller, stronger, and overall cooler since then. Notice how well it goes with the chestpack radio and makes me look official.

Keep voting for the stache.....!

Is this rigged?

So there seems to be a bunch of people out there with poor eyesight, or maybe poor memories...let me help refresh. You see Trevor is so handsome without this mustache, but maybe some of you have forgotten, therefore I am posting a before and after picture for you to check out.

Maybe the lighting on the previous post was too good or my photography skills are just on fire...not sure, but I apologize for glamorizing the hair on Trev's face. This is what it really looks like. You see, even Stevie is scared.

Ohhh....the good old days. The Trevor I know and love.

There is still time for all of you to change your votes to "shave it"!

Mustache or no?

So Trev has a mustache. Girls are hating it and the guys are digging it. What do you think? Take our little poll on the right and if there are enough "shave it" votes by next Sunday it is gone!! Or, if Trev gets enough "wow that's pretty cool just for a while" votes, he will get to keep it until closing day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on April 5th. Please vote this week!

We went snowmobiling up to Granite Hot Springs today (our favorite ride) on Trev's new snowmobile. Here I am, all bundled up after some off-roading, powder-dogging it! Fun stuff.

And some sheep on the way home!

Bring on Daylight Savings Time!

Worked all day at the ski hill and was motivated to go do something besides stand around on a race course in the freezing cold. Rallied for a post work snowmobile mission with a couple of buds in the late afternoon. We have received close to two feet of fresh snow in the past few days, so, the riding was awesome. We rode until well after dark and then rode out under a bright moon back to the truck and trailers. Pretty excited for Sunday and more daylight thanks to Daylight Savings Time!

Also, back into the groove of getting up at 3 AM to watch Marco race in the last couple of World Cup races for the season. The tour is in Norway this weekend with the season finale in Sweden next weekend. Stay tuned in via Universal Sports and also Marco's website!

In with the new

A couple of weeks ago I put my snowmobile up for sale online and didn't really expect to sell it given the economic climate at the moment. Sure enough, two days later I had gone for my last ride on my old sled and sold it to a friend who I used to work with a few years ago. Was stoked to keep it in the friend network.

So, this left me sledless! Hmmmmm, in the land of small world, I met the owner of the Ski-Doo dealership here in Jackson while on a train in Switzerland in January. He and his wife were over there to watch the world cup races too. We ended up befriending them and skiing/hanging out with them in Kitzbuhel.

I called him up to see what kind of wheeling and dealing could be done, and he basically came up with a deal on a new 2009 Ski-Doo 800 Hill Climb Edition that couldn't be passed up (or thats at least what I told myself).

Took it out for a 70 mile "break in" ride today up on Togwotee Pass with my buddy Johnny. Suffice to say, it rips.

Beautiful Blue Skies

Lovin' it! Such a nice, sunny, blue sky weekend that we ate up skiing out at the Village and on top of that, it was actually warm too...spring is on its way. Happy March!
