Ok, just a bit more.....

Oooops, I was wrong, these are the wrap up shots from the 12 day blast that was our Thanksgiving down south.  

The last day the wind blew like a muthah......!  Dash, not caring, getting countless grains of sand in his eyes when looking up beach.  

 Carpinteria is, was, and always has been a pot at the end of a fantastic rainbow for the Robinson's and everyone else.  

 Wow we love this lil man so much.  

 Hard to get true perspective here on just how windy it was, but my dad was about ready to take flight.

Ran into a bud who lives just over the fence from us here in Jackson that I see all the time on the bike paths and his two kids who coincidentally lived two streets down all growing up.  The world is small. 

PUtting an end to anther stellar trip down to Carp

 Carpinteria again in t-minus 4 months!!!  Already looking forward to being back down there.  This time was unique in that there was actually some rain, the weather was dynamic, etc.

 We of course got in the water every day for a surf and or boggie session and or both.  But...., there was one particular session that stood out above the rest.  It was blowing a big offshore, it was clean, and there were barrels to be had!  Super fun getting in the "green room" a bunch.

 Dash is pretty into running right now, so it can be a tough time getting him to slow down to walk, but when he does, he always reaches out for our hands.  

 Having a cocktail and watching the sun go down up on this deck always is awesome.  

 Dash has never been one to sleep in whatsoever, but....., right now, as evidenced by the sunrise....., he is loving being fully awake each and every day around 530.

Back from the south land

 Super solid yearly voyage down to So Cal for Thanksgiving this year.  

First stop, Laguna Beach with Lizzy!  Awesome to be there for a long weekend hanging with her.  

Breakfast with a view!  Lizzy gets pretty rad views of the ocean from her front patio.

 It was that darn beautiful!  My two faves watching the sun say bye.

 When in So Cal and it is actually pretty damn cold what do you do?  Well, make a Duraflame fire of course!  

 We managed to do the entire 12 days without renting a car which always feels liberating.

 4 scenic hours later, arrived to easily one of our favorite places anywhere, Carpinteria.  

My mom picked us up.  Pretty sure Dash grew on the train ride up? 

 Probably my favorite place anywhere.  Period.  

California sure is crowded eh Dashman.

New experiences

Things you do when it is the middle of November, records are being set for warm days and nights, there is now snow on the ground, and there is a super moon.  Yep, bike a bunch of miles in a national park under the moonlight.  A bud and I left town around 8 the other night and didn't get back much before midnight, but....., made it up to the lake and back without having to use our headlamps much, didn't run into any bears, and had an amazingly cool experience.
