North Carolina

 We always do our best to stick around Jackson in the summer as it is too short and too awesome to miss any more than what is necessary.  However, a couple of weekends ago we went to North Carolina for a family reunion and it was one of our best weekends in a long while.  Can't thank you enough Dad for encouraging us to go and making it happen.  We love ya.

 Easily  the best packing move award goes to me!  I broke Dash's strider bike down, put it and his helmet in my golf travel bag, and many miles later, it was an instant hit on the golf course in North Carolina!  

 2.5 years old and he learned a thing or two about humidity after literally biking on his own for an entire 9 holes! 

Maybe, just maybe...

 Biking seems to be consuming what little free time I have these weeks leading up to Lotoja.  

A while back going century plus deep somewhere between Thermopolis and Mateetse Wyoming.  

The internet is an interesting place........, one can sit there and build something close to their dream bike.  Now, if only I could sell my present one, make out like a bandit come tax return time, and continue saving.....turns out carbon fiber doesn't come cheap.

Smores

 It matters not where one makes smores.  They are so damn tasty regardless!

Strider Nation

 I got Dash a strider bike for X mas at which point it was below zero and the snow was piled high.  Well...., the snow has melted, the temps are perfect, low and behold, he digs himself the strider!

 We came across a perfect lil strider zone that he wanted to ride on repeat over and over again in Wilson.  

 Dash for the first two years of his lived literally was in the chariot everyday.  That has backed off a bit unfortunately this year, but now he is chasing the chariot more than riding in it.

 Sometimes it sure is rad having buds who are members at the Sporting Club!  Love every minute of hanging out 5 minutes from our house but a world away.

All in a summer day...

 Woa.....is it really the middle of August already?  Hot damn.....summer seems to be so darn fleeting around these parts.  We have soaked it up as much as possible, but with being gone a lot and so busy with house and work, it seems like it has gotten away from us a bit.  

A while back we had one of those summer days that was so good from start to finish!
