No mas...

Golf seemed to take a back seat to Moto through September, but, was lucky enough to get once last round in last weekend before the snow engulfed the valley with a few buds over in Idaho.

Done, dusted, but not over.

The moto boys and I went on one last epic ride up in the mountains above Swan Valley, ID last weekend knowing it would be our last up high in our part of the world until at least late June 2014.  So, it was bittersweet of sorts knowing this, but kick butt in the same breath knowing that a different season is fast approaching with different fun activities to keep us occupied!

Climbing up Red Ridge, high above Irwin, ID.

Scuba, Drew...aka the stalwarts, and Dane, always up for a big 50 mile mission.

Idaho Falls moto'er shooting the shit.  The next day the snow came in and it doesnt look to be going anywhere.  Well, better head south!

Looking outside at the copious

amounts of fresh snow...., makes me stoked we finally got some amazingly nice indian summer days last week.

Happy as two sets of boots over a huge cliff could be.

Soooooo good.

Last of the desert photo's.  Not to worry devoted fans, we are headed back down there in two weeks time for more moto madness.  How can you not?  This place is literally disneyland, county fair, and legoland all bundled together for adults who like to ride moto in cool places that you dont have to share it with a million other people life locales further south in Utah.  Paradise.

The weekend in a nutshell, beautiful places, big ol stoked group, all smiles.

"The Dudes" all went for a group ride the last morning.

Jackson boys taking a breather after a big climb.

 So cool.

Already fired up for the next trip south in November.

Chels made a huge leap last weekend on the moto.  Pictures really dont tell the story here, but, I can assure you this is a techy line that is a tiny little slot canyon with some two foot step ups in the middle.  She "cleaned" it first try!  Badass.

Does it get any better?

Part of the crew, taking a breather and saying how cool we all are!

 Michelle dominating "horseshoe" trail.

Reflections of a life well  lived.

Chels, Michelle, Shannon and Brandi = MOTO BABES!

Having nothing but good buds, epic singletrack, and no humans anywhere near ya is a damn, damn good thing.

The Happe's are Happy when they can find a moto-sitter.

Shannon doing what she does best, kicking ass.

There is no such thing as the offseason anymore!

Certainly one of the best parts of riding moto is the off-season.  Those that live in ski towns know that the off-seasons can be painful.  Well, not when you are in love with riding dirtbikes.  It was so badass getting back down to the desert last weekend to hang and ride with old friends, feel the sun on our faces, and ride something besides dirt.

Chels absolutely crushed it!  She rode a ton of really gnarly trails and fell even more in love with moto.

Chels in a little canyon on the Ledges trail.

Chels explaining the pink is fast?

Moto is a lot like other sports in that its the ultimate universal currency with meeting new people and making friends.  I had met some Jackson riders earlier this summer out on the trail and kept in touch with them and invited them to our hidden slice of nirvana.  They came down, they conquered, they kicked ass.  Keith negotiating a sweet rock step up.

Capt. Curt back home after way too long on the wrong coast during the summer months.

Riding and Smiling.

Last weekend the combo platter continued on the weekend with a moto and mtn bike trip over to the Big Holes Mountains in Idaho.  It was trying to snow most of the day, the trails were a bit slimy, but none of that matter, we were all pumped.

Chels, bright and rippin.

Marco about ready to get through a wet section.

 Goodtimes, rippin.

 Get it Chels!

Happy almost weekend everyone.
