It has been a while......

The last two weeks were a complete blur.  A long weekend in Sun Valley, work trip to Cheyenne, and a work/fun trip to Nashville, TN.  haven't seen JH but for a night in the past two weeks, but....., we have been gone having fun.

First stop, a long Labor Day weekend up in the Copper Basin of Idaho.  Can't thank our bud Duffy for lending us his bitching ranch for the weekend for our gang to hang and have fun at.

Evening cruise with Chels out the Copper Basin road.  Brr, early September chill at 8500 feet in the boonies of Idaho.

The Passage family joined from SLC, along with Marco/Anna and the Happes.  It was a rad crew.  Tanner at age 8 is fully crushing on his moto.  Fun to see the progression in his riding just from last summer.

Dash continued his love affair with granny smith apples.

Chels taught  the lil ones how to do headstands.

Tanner continued to rip on the moto, lap, after lap, after lap, most of the time in his indoor soccer shoes!

Every night was spent chilling in the main cabin, making good food, enjoying tasty adult beverages.

Tanner and Riley, words to live by.

Mid week moto

Chels and I were lucky enough to get out for a rip last week after work thanks to this guys, Ben...., Dashman sitter extraordinaire.

Chels, sagebrush, sweet views, and nothing but awesome singletrack post rain.

It feels like we are gradually being able to do things together again which is awesome.

This view never gets old.

 Chels, above and below, ripping.

It was that purty.....

The Tuesday Night Ride "TNR" was epic this week.  Warm temps, no rain, fun group, less tourists on the road, and, well, a really pretty sunset.

A big one for the lil D man...

Dash had a big weekend last weekend.  His first camping mission!  It wasn't that we hadn't wanted to, but the hustle and bustle of work, Dash, other fun adventures, etc, had kinda gotten in the way of  what is normally a just about every weekend occurrence for us in the summer.  This picture says it all.  It was an amazing weekend.

Dash, digging his hand me down backpack!

A lil bear cub in the pack.

We were not quite sure how he would take to the backpack, and, well, just like everything else in life involving fun, he took right to it.

Trying to figure out how to go forward.

Getting it done....

Post work moto missions sure do have a way of making the days stressors at work fade away with the first twist of the throttle!

Last week, over in Idaho, enjoying being in the mountains with my bud Nate.
