Coming back....

 Although sometimes sketchy, especially in the winter, flying in and out of Jackson is the best airport experience around!  You can literally park your car 100 steps from security, there are no crowds, you get to load the planes from outside, I love peering out the window and seeing places we venture to via sleds and moto's, and, well, it's really beautiful.

We love traveling both in the states and overseas, but we are amazed each and every time we come back home and look out our back door. 

Short and sweet....

 On the extremely random front, I had a work trip last week to Nashville, TN.  First time ever for this boy going to TN.  Luckily, Lizdog Kenny just happens to call Nashville home these days.  So, I got to hang with her, meet her boyfriend Norm, and write it all off to a work trip.  

Norm and Lizzy's rental is a really, really large house! 

 Complete with a sundeck for lil Louis. 

 And stairs for lil Chels.  

 We bar hoped and listened to a ton of really good music, duh, that is what you do in Nashville.  

I will be back again to see more Lizzy, only next time with Dash and Chels.

We got a blast of over a foot of fresh middle of this past week and it had been WAY too long since I had gotten the sled out.  So, I snuck out for a quick solo mission to get a bit of goods.  Hopefully this wont be the last blast of winter we receive for the year.  It is pretty amazing what a cell phone can capture these days, all on self timer.

 Dash has been on a real roll of late.  Wanting to spend as much time as possible outside with his parents enjoying the spring weather.  I dig carrying the lil man.

And when he does, it sure is a beautiful thing!

Figuring things out.

 Dash and parents seem to be learning together how to make things right in the world!  Dash has already figured out that being outside in the sun is one of the best things ever!

 Both half asleep and hat half cocked!  We found an insert for our car seat which helped hugely with calming Dash down for car missions.  

I recently found a holding position that Dash completely digs.  And, I get to work on my biceps, yah......

 We really couldn't have lucked out anymore having a lil one this winter/spring.  It has been the warmest one that any of the ol timers can ever remember.  Certainly has made it easier on parents with a newborn to get outside for daily walks.  

 Which inevitably end in naps.

Dash, you are very lucky to live in a place like Jackson, WY, where free, awesome music comes to town as regularly as most big cities, only the town pays for it!  

Last night, Dash got to go to his first concert, Robert Earl Keen.  Well done town of Jackson for having the show right on the town square and shutting down Broadway.  Super cool.

Where did it go?

 Dash turned a month old yesterday, so hard to believe.  He is growing, getting full of more and more emotions, and pulls on our hearts every day.  Happy month of goodness Dash, we love ya lil man.

A step back in time...

We are in shock, but believe it or not, Dash came into our lives a month ago already!  He has been everything we hoped for and a whole lot more.  A lil bundle of absolute awesome goodness.

 A couple of nights ago Chels got back on skis!  She got to make a couple of late evening laps on the King with Lizzy, Jess, and Wyatt!  Case and I were hanging with Mads and Dash at the bottom.  Pretty awesome seeing the huge ol grin on Chels' face getting out of the house and mom mode, if only for a lil bit.

 The weather lately has been so rocking!  If it's not going to snow, it might as well be in the 50's and feel like May instead of March.  

We don't have names for all the grandparents yet, kinda figuring that Dash will come up with them.

 Dash is growing!  He gained a pound last week since his last check up which the doc's tell us is awesome.  It's  pretty wild to see clothes that fit really well last week not fitting as well this week.  

Dash continues to be a pretty chill lil dude.  

 However, just like any over photographed Hollywood star with the paparazzi, he has his breaking point!

 It seems like a lot of people told us going into Dash's birth that kids don't do much in the first few months but, "eat, sleep, and shit."  Well, quite contrary.  I feel like Dash already has a ton of emotions.  Scope this sequence of shots from the other day.
