Jammies.
Have jammies, fruit snacks......, will travel. Dash crushed a 6 am flight like it was no big deal.
Back home, captaining the luggage cart.

Of course a lil child labor was in order in the back yard.
Followed up with a lil park time downtown afterward. CdA has the best parks for kids I have seen in our searches over the years with Dash. So cool.
And then when you work up a sweat at the park, you walk across the street and head to the beach!
I had to jump in. It was too nice to not!
Hey Grams....
Another day brought more adventures. Morning walk and Strider bike ride on the bike path on the east end of the lake. So awesome to see my mom back walking again after being laid up all summer with a broken leg.

Yea, you have to do a corn maze this time of year if you have the opportunity don't ya?
Argh........, the problem with looking at camper trailers......, then you want one! Yea, we are sniffing around these days seeing what deals are out there for the eventuality that will more than likely be a camper trailer in our lives hopefully sooner than later.

Cd'A in all its October glory last weekend. Was so nice to be on the beach with no crowds!

Seeing Grams...
Super rad weekend up to North Idaho this past weekend to see and hang with my mom. Such a treat for both me and Dash.

Reading bud
Dash and his school buds took a field trip this week to one of the local elementary schools where he read with a "reading buddy."
Hot damn...
In what was almost surely the last local round of golf for me this year, at least in WYoming...., last weekends free round was a thing of absolute beauty with the boys.
Was 35 the entire round, but it mattered not.
We had the course to ourselves and man was it bitchin.

Bookworm
We have so many attributes of Dash that we love so much. Easily one of my favorites is his desire to read books. Going to the library remains one of his most looked forward to activities.
Ol time buds
It just so happens that my ol time TVRC bud TOm has 4 kids, one of which, Johnny, has the same bday as Dash, just a year later. Well, Johnny is a man child and is as big as Dash right now. It was fun getting them together last weekend.

Good for you Jackson...
There is a movement within out local (not all fortunately) County Commissioners to shut down public lands to mountain biking, snowmobiles, and dirtbikes. Needless to say, not everyone is in favor of what our elected officials are deciding to do. Amazing turn out (yea, standing room only outside of the commissioners meeting with people live streaming it) to protest the proposed closing of the land.
