Bday vibes

I started my 39th year in style last week with a pretty sweet bike ride after a day of work.

Don't go....

If there is a better experience in a national park in the month of April in this country someone please alert me......!  Otherwise..., I am going to continue believing the premise that riding bikes in GTNP in April is better than all the rest.

Dash, Chels and I had a fun mission last weekend.

Dash probably rode close to two miles, then bonked.  Inside the chariot he went and on the party rocked.

Chels was a big fan of my cross bike.

After a big mission north of town, luckily DQ awaits each and every time!

Dash was in absolute heaven the other day when our neighbor let him ride his good friend Wilson.

Swimming....

Joe......, you are a saint!  Swim lessons without parents is just what the Dashman needed!  Thanks so much.

Dash and his lil swim buds.

B ham

I wrapped up my last visit to Alabama last week for work.  I have gone there close to 8 times in the past year in a half and enjoyed it immensely.  It is a cool lil city and has all kinds of super friendly people.

Going to miss dog walks for Cathy!

The famous 16th Street Baptist Church.

 Downtown on a beautiful day.

 The local baseball stadium.

Leaving Jackson.

GTNP'ing

TIs the season to connect with buds and ride up in Grand Teton National Park while the road is only open to bikes.

 Strider nation in full effect.

Sedona 3

 The fam!

The desert and family time left us in such a happy place.

Big trucks......., I am already not looking forward to the day that Dash no longer talks about huge trucks sun up to sun down!

 Life's simple pleasures.....

Pretty cool to get the whole family together.  Lol, look at Dash's glamor pose!

Dash helping feed his cousin Olivia.

We left 90 degree weather and flew an hour north and came back to a raging blizzard.

Sedona II

Feeling some nice warmth felt really, really good.

Dash could almost keep up with Grams....

Always pumped to get on top of mountain vistas.

Feeling the heat and the long hike.

Dash, Chels, and the grandparents.  Love...

Slow down Dash, you are growing way too fast my lil man.

Sedona

We escaped to warmer latitudes a couple of weekends ago down to Sedona, AZ to spend some quality time with the fam.  It was really nice!
Dash and Grams and Daisy out on a morning walk.

 Finding some much needed shade.

So proud of this lil dude.  He crushed a two mile hike and didnt want to be carried once!

 Mr. Traveler.

Not gonna waste em.

Closing week of the village we had some free tickets, Dash was in day care, and I got out of work for a few hours.  It might have been raining and the skiing might have been marginal, but, it matters not these days.  Just getting out together was all we needed to make us happy.

One never knows

Woa the late season sledding and skiing has been rock solid the last couple of weeks.  The storm cycles cleared for all of one day and I managed to get the sled out for a romp.

The sure tell sign of a amazing rip.....a sled back to the truck plastered in fresh snow.

I took my bud Nick on a tour of Phillips Creek on TEton Pass.  He enjoyed!

Full on mid winter conditions in April.

It is always hard to know what will be the last sled mission of the winter, but...., if this was my last one, it was a damn fine one to end it on.  Bike racing and yard work season is upon me!
