Fun to mix it up last weekend and go for a nordic ski.

WFH

A day in the life of working from home today!  It certainly isnt all that bad!  Good to get away from the collective computer time for some fresh air today.  

None of the ice rinks are in around town yet, but we busted out the skates to skate on the ice in the driveway instead.  

Then we put up the barn quilt that Rena made for us.  Nice work Rena!  Your artistic abilities are so cool.  It looks great!  We dig it.

Not all is lost...

The silver lining in Covid has been easy to find for us.  While it certainly hasnt been ideal, it has left us with a deeper appreciation for the simple things.  Such as...., cats that love to explore...., can you see Taco in the picture below?  

Being able to be home with Dash for school has been cool.  

And..., when you go through the necessary steps to make a visit happen, it feels all the sweeter.  
 

Doing our part

Last weekend Dash and I went out to my favorite sledding area to clear some brush away while the snow is low to make getting into and out of there easier....in theory!  

 

Finally

While I was only here for part of the visit, man was it awesome to have Babba Nans with us for a week of fun, adventure, cooking, and just overall awesome grandmaness!  

Dash was pumped.  

It was a tale of two weather patterns as you can see.  Nice, then, well, snowy!

 Yup, then it turned to winter.  Hopefully we can get the stars to align just right in the spring to make it happen again!

It is all fun and games until....., the snow descends in the desert and you have to head home early.  

 

Day three vibes

Kept it a bit more "mellow" the third day.  

 

No messing around

Day 2 was a big one.  Pulled out of camp at 9 and got back right at dark at 530.  Cant say as we stopped more than five minutes the entire day.  Lots of bushwacking and exploring.  A damn good time.  

 

Down South

Yes!  It has been a year, but got down south last weekend to one of my favorite places anywhere to both hang out and ride moto!
