The lil dude chillin....

600 square feet is a small space for two grown adults to coexist in for as long as Chels and I have, not to mention, a new baby and a fantastic black cat named Steve.  Well, we are all getting along well in our tiny apt.  Dash's badass crib seems too far away to us right now and too big for him, so, he has been hanging at night closer to his mom.

Check out the awesome pillow Rena made for him!

Rena and Dash, all tuckered out.  Rena, we cant thank you enough for being here the past week.  You were such a huge help for us.  Come back soon, we already miss you.

Unbeatable.

February has been a very dry month.  In fact, up until today, it had snowed 15" all month long.  None of this matters if there is a decent base and you like snowmobiling!  You can ALWAYS find good snow on a sled.  I can only imagine the state of the ski hill right now, Volkswagen sized mougals all over the place, meanwhile, in a place far away from civilization, this is happening.

Untracked goodness.

Steve, a north facing aspect and about 15 miles from the nearest paved road, scoring amazing snow.

What its all about, no crowds, untracked goodness.

Standard way to rest your sled on a hill, on edge, ready to rip.

Ahh yea.

GTNP'ing

Seems like there are all kinds of first time experiences happening for Dash and us right now.  Dash got to hang in a national park a few days ago, Grand Teton National Park, which we are luckily enough to live 10 minutes away from.

Dash, enjoying the February sun.

Three generations of awesomeness.

Feeling different.

Thanks to Chels being the raddest and most understanding wife out there, along with Rena in town, I was able to sneak away for a day of sledding last weekend.  It hasn't snowed much really since the early part of January, but, when you have a sled and know where to do, there is always amazing snow to be had.

Face shots never get old.  It felt amazing to be back on the sled again.

Sunny, cold pow turns.  Doesn't get much better.

Really diggin this set up this winter.  Much easier transport, storage, and ease from town to trailhead and back.  That view isn't so bad either.

Back in the mountains with my homies, Steve and Drew.

I am already more appreciative than ever of getting out on the sled after Dash arrived knowing the opportunities to do so for a while are going to be fewer and farther between.

Grandvasion!

All the grandparents made it into the valley this past weekend to hang with Dash.  It was awesome.  Three generations of Robinson dudes hanging tough.

Des is not a grandparent, but Dash doesn't discriminate, he likes everyone.

Rena, with the special gma touch.

Mom, the Dash whisperer!

Wow....

Chels and Dash, being awesome at the hospital.

Lil Dude has been melting in our arms.

As happy as I can ever remember being!

Debating on whether to cry or smile first time in a car seat.  Well done Rena on knitting the hat.  It's awesome.

Stevie meet Dash.  Dash, meet Stevie.

Dash invasion

Our lives changed on 2/17/15 with lil Dash coming into our lives and of course, the blog has as well.  Seems like I caught flak for years by blog devotees for "too many motorsports pictures".  Well, watch out what you wish for.  The blog is about ready to be bombarded with non-stop shots of the biggest thing to ever happen in our lives, Dash Rowan Robinson.  Yea buddy.

Dash, first bath, two days old.  He was digging it.  As you can see, he always wants to have his hands near his face.  No self scratching as of yet.

I get the easy part with Dash.  By the time he comes into my arms he is well fed, tired, and happy as can be.  These moments are unreal!

Kristin and Keely swung by the hospital to say whats up.

Dash and the boys hanging tough.  Ben and Teddy.

All the visitors wore the Dashman out.

Amazing things come in small doses!

Unbelievable!!

2/17/15, a day in our lives we will never forget.  Dash Rowan Robinson came into this world as perfect as could be.  Wow, what a journey.

Lil foot.

Dash doing what he does really well, sleep.  The birthing wing at the hospital here in town might just be the most amazing anywhere!  Dash, soaking up the view of the Elk Refuge and the elk in the distance.

Our lives just got even better.

A mighty fine high elevation dude.

We are in awe.   Can't believe how this lil dude hung out inside of Chels happy as could be for 9 and a half months and now, we get to hang out with him.

Finding pearls in the oysters...

Bar Y has some really rad hill climbs.

Sometimes certain winters are not as massive as others.  While we have more snow than anyone else in the country and we still have snow on the ground, it has been a really warm (relative for Jackson) winter.  This last week the sun was out, we set record highs, and......, the roads got dry enough to road ride on.  Well, why the hell not got for it?  Never thought I would be riding road bikes in February.

Almost there......

Yep, Chels is rolling 41 weeks deep and continuing to be such a rock star!  We went up to Jackson Lake yesterday to get some fresh air and take in the amazing place we call home!  Scope the buoy's in the lake!

These might be some of the last "just us 2" shots!

Love you valentine.

Cozy as can be

So my due date was February 6th, but the babe seems pretty cozy in there and doesn't want to come out yet! Here are some pics we took this weekend, maybe the last pregnancy pics for awhile? We'll see...

Ready....set....?

Chels is a woman of many, many talents.  Some obvious, some not so obvious unless you know her well.  Her creativity is second to none.  Together, well, outside of me painting the walls, Chels has completely overhauled our small back room in our apartment and made it so awesome for the lil one coming soon.  Yep, original Chelsea artwork on the walls!  She painted all of them in the last few weeks.  I honestly think it could turn into a business!  If you know of anyone having babies and wanna get them an unique and meaningful gift, look no further than Chels!
