Doing it again.

 We got more snow this past week and decided to get up into the hills again for a fun family sled mission.

Going up

 Another day, another hike to the top of the King at lunch.  Today was a beauty.  

Small windows...

It is beginning to be that time of year again when I like to hike up to the top of the King and ski down.  Only issue being...., not enough snow right now to ski down.  So..., one must walk down until more of the white stuff accumulates.  

Things to come!

 It snowed a bit last weekend on the valley floor, so....., we got some of the winter toys out and made a morning of it.  

 Dash had a complete breakthrough on his lil snowmobile!  He was absolutely loving it.  

And of course, part of the experience is cleaning your gear afterward.  

Work Wanderings

 Was great have Chels and Dash accompany me last week out to Thermopolis on my work trip.  It is a great lil town with a ton of fun things to do for kids.  

 Common theme?  The bike goes everywhere!  

 Dash is so stoked on Dinosaurs at this point.  He wore dinosaur sweats, shirt, and hat for the occasion.  

Last of the season?

 We noticed the awesome weather window we have been experiencing was going to come to a crashing halt this past weekend, so, I took some time off work last week in the afternoons and hung with the fam up in GTNP.  

Stellar hike around Jenny Lake.  So proud of Dash.  He hiked 4.5 miles all on his own and was pumped.  

 Jenny Lake about as quiet as you ever want to see it.  

 Well done GTNP trail crew.  Built a beauty of a trail.  

So long sweet Stevie...

Our beloved and long time furry friend Stevie passed away this past weekend.  He had been in failing health for quite some time, but hung on for longer than we thought.  Chels and Dash got all of the "stuffies" out after he passed and broke the tough news to them via a picnic lunch.  

Back on the carrot scene

 Kids are funny......, they get in and out of habits just the same as we adults.  Dash took a few months off from wanting to feed the neighbors horses through the summer.  Luckily, the past few weeks he has been back on the daily feed the horses carrots after I get home from work on his dirtbike grind!  Much love.  

October sledding

 Yup, we got out last weekend and went sledding.  Figured why not?

A new tradition emerged subsequent to this weekend.....turns out the pumpkin patch up in Moose was the cats meow!  Beautiful views and good times.

 It what has become a tradition at least a decade deep...., we went out to our favorite spot in the fall to kayak and get some GTNP solitude!

 I spent the end of the work week in Cheyenne for a meeting.  Always awesome to be in the state capital and take a side trip to the actual capital building.
