 It has been a truly epic and record breaking February.

After all these years.....

 So cool to see Lizzy and Chels, still best of buds, hanging and loving one another just as much now as ever.  

We had a solid mission up to Granite on Friday.  It might have been -20 and Lizzy got frostbite, however, we all agreed that it was totally worth it!  

Took our old sled and the new sled.  

 Amazing how a 108 degree pool can warm one up on a cold winters day.

 Monday of this past week was the best day in the mountains so far this winter.  Pretty amazing stuff, especially when you consider I left from my front driveway!  Feel so lucky everyday.

Pretty standard fare right now in the town of Jackson.  All the snow is bringing the critters down low this winter all over town.  

As good as it gets.....

 Insanity....., riding this Monday was as good as it gets.  So many things have to come together to have a day like this, and when it does, man it is what I live for!  

 So, so good.

 Dash celebrated turning 4 years old last weekend!  He had a blast, got a bunch of really meaningful and cool gifts from family, and generally, was stoked!

 It is not all the time that riding almost within town limits happens, however, when there is this much snow down low, it is a pretty good idea to check it out via sled.

Just for a minute or two

Saturdays at the King have been a regular occurrence for us this winter with Dash being in lessons in the morning, freeing me and Chels up to go skiing together for a couple of hours.  It has been such a treat.  Today, the sun came out for the first time in what seems like weeks for a few minutes.  It yielded a snowy looking landscape.  

Moments before the rapture....

 What an awesome night it was shaping up to be.  FIS World Champs for moguls in Deer Valley, ol time buds, and then......., the funk of all funks ensued and all became violently ill.  This illness resulted in days off from work, trips to the doctor, missing school, scary weight loss, puking and other such really fun bodily purges, etc.  It hit two kids and 4 adults.  We still are unclear whether it was a virus and or food based.

 Luckily, if things need to be fixed around the house, Dash is on the scene.

 You have been sick for 5 days straight and you have an unbelievably creative artist for a mom!  

Nice work today Dash and Chels!  Super cool V day gifts for school tomorrow if it isn't a snow day, and/or give away gifts for your bday this upcoming weekend.
