Randos

On a work trip this week.

Not a bad yield in the raised beds thus far!  Spinach and Arugula coming in strong.

Benefits

Some jobs have good benefits!  Getting to play golf at where Chels is working one day a week.  Place is sweet.

Look at that, Chels giving it a go!

Dashman was super super into it.

Casita love

Went camping last weekend.  Needless to say when it rains and it is cold...., being in a Casita is a damn nice thing.

In the saddle

Been nice being back with the boys on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings.

My man...

Absolutely love this shot of the Dashman.

When your mom celebrates your last day of school.

Ben giving us and some friends a slideshow of his latest summit of Everest.

By the end of the season Dash loved baseball.

Biking...

Another summer of MT Bike the Tetons program for Dash.  He is luke warm to it, but I think deep down he likes it.

Family bike mission close to home.

More randoms

WHen your grandpa takes you out for breakfast..... you get whipped cream with a splash of hot cocoa

Grandpa GR got to go to lunch with Dash and all of his school homies one day.  Such a fun thing to do.

ANd...., got to see Dash score 10 goals one night.

Ben, back from Everest, finishing the JH half marathon.

Assortment

Me, my bud Tom, and my dad.

Had a stellar visit with my dad who came down for a week to see Dash in all of his end of the season sports and events.  Was super cool having him here and getting him to see Dash and all that he is into right now.
That shit hurt.

The guys post recital.

 Ugh

Spring...

This dude was one very, very busy kid this spring between playing baseball and soccer 6 days a week!  He was all about it.

The boys doing what they do best.  This little guy didnt stand a chance.

Dash's end of the year musical recital.  So awesome.

Then...

Tell you what...., taking a week off work after the race, this guy was certainly a breath of fresh air and made me feel better by the day.

Kansas

I know, I know... It has been a while.  Needless to say, I have been busy, hurt, and the last month got away from me.  Where did I leave off...., ohh right.  Kansas.  Racing bikes.

This was a day before shake out ride.  There were 5k racers for Unbound.  Such a cool event.

Guy on the right I was bs'n with.  He played on two super bowl winning teams and said he was more nervous for the bike race than he was playing in two super bowls!

My bike, the night before all the carnage that ensued.

Morning of at the line.  I was at the front of the over 1000 person pack heading out of town.

First aid station 80 miles in before I crashed, twice.

This doesnt really show the extent of how badly I crashed.  Concussion.  Massive road rash.  Ambulance.  ER.  The whole nine yards.

Not a good picture.

Luckily I had no TBI and or neck damage.  I guess there is a first for everything in life.  It was the first time I had ever been in a hospital in Kansas with no id, no money, and just in spandex.

Great visit with GR

We all enjoyed a great visit from Grandpa GR this past week, especially his buddy Ziggy!

Two pals at the table. : )

Dash reading to Grandpa GR and Ziggy before bed, both getting some laughs in.

Taco, not wanting to miss out on any love.

A breakfast out at the Virg always includes a hot chocolate and a mountain of whipped cream!

So great to see you Grandpa GR, king of the Robinson boys!
