Maybe, quite possibly my favorite picture of Dash yet! Luckily for him, there are all kinds of toys to be found at my office when he comes to hang out!

Hanging with the G'parents....
Gram's and GR's made a stop into town on their way over from Sun Valley last weekend for a quick visit to see Dash. He clearly loves his new book!
And watching his dad compete in bike races.
Not to mention being memorised by an adult beverage.

Everyday chillaxin.
Take it easy Dash, you are already growing up way too fast my friend!
Dash and Stevie have really been bonding lately.
Of course all that playing and hanging out can wear a lil dude out.

Work Wanderings
This month I touched all the Wyoming corners for work including Big Piney, Green River, Cheyenne, Torrington, Sheridan, Worland, Douglas, Thermopolis, Lander, and back. Easily the highlight this go around was finding the epic, epic road bike climb from Lander, WY up Sinks Canyon into the Wind River Range. I turned around because of time after 4,000 ft of climbing with two cars that passed me. Unreal. Above you can see the road coming up the canyon.
And headed into the Winds.

A touch of Kiwi
Chels had some long lost buds from New Zealand in town this past weekend. John, MelanieMichele and Heléna. It was great to hear some kiwi accents again. It got both of us missing a place that we have spent a lot of time in and love, New Zealand. The gang, after a float, with the obligatory stop off at Dornans. Yea, it has been as cold as it looks. Temps have been struggling to get to 70 now for the better part of two weeks. No complaints here. Everything is green and lush in the middle of July and fire danger is next to nothing.
Sure was nice to get the drifter out on the Snake.

Apple of our eyes....
Dash seemed stoked to be back at home this week and not in his car seat for hours upon hours. He got out to the park a bunch.
And loves to stop the switching of outfits so that he gives himself all kinds of amazing head ornaments.

Tahoe being Tahoe
Being in Tahoe is awesome for us. Old time good buds and family. Not to mention Tahoe is such a rad place. It only makes us wish that the distance between Tahoe and Jackson was closer! Normally we run around all over the place seeing everyone when we are there, but this time, Chels had the wisdom to set a bbq at the lake and have everyone show up there. It was so cool seeing the gang!

Thanks buddy....
Being able to cruise back to Rena and Joe's after the ride sure was a luxury! While the rest of the participants had to either drive home and or stay a night in a hotel, I got to go back to Dash and family in Minden, NV and spend the evening celebrating and loving Dash. The Death Ride was a blast, hope to go back next year and do it all again.
Tired, but content!

Hammering.....
The traveling lifestyle of fun continues! This past weekend was a first for a lot of things including my first bike race, Dash's first Tahoe to Jackson in one day drive (Yep, 15 hours including time change). More than anything, it was so awesome getting back to Tahoe to see good friends and spend time with family.
Rena was part of my traveling band of rooters. As you can see, the "Death Ride" is a big race. 4,000 plus riders.
THanks Chels for being so understanding to all the hours away from the fam with me hanging out in spandex.
It took me 8 hours to go up 15,000ft over 5 passes and 130 miles. One of the first to sign the finishing banner.

Change, yes...
All it seems people want to tell you is how much kids change your life. Yes, Dash has changed our lives, but only in very good ways I might add! Such as, well, July 5th, leaving for a bike ride at 5:11am! Easy enough to do when not partying on the 4th!

The 4th.....
Our 4th of July was spent just as it should be, celebrating this awesome country in a beautiful place! Dash had his first Jackson Lake experience and seemed to dig it!
Hat, Boardies, Sun Hoodie, check.....
All that swimming left the lil dude tuckered out.
Jackson Lake is the place of fairy tales! As you can see, it was a very busy day on the busiest day of the summer... Hmm, mid day glass on 4th of July. Not many lakes in this country that could say the same I would imagine.
The Fam!
Dash is all about toes to waist being in the water, anything more than that generally brings on complaining!

Unreal....
These two are amazing together! Bonded before day 1 and getting stronger each and every day! Chels, you are one amazing mom! Look at how stoked on life Dash is.
Here, very enthralled with willow tree leaves in the wind.
Did you just fart or something Dash?

Today was a good day....
Summer days are so awesome. It's truly amazing what you can squeeze out of them! I started the day off right with a dawn patrol bike ride.....
Worked 10 hours, then....., headed out into the Gros Ventures with my buddy Nate and shredded some dirt until the sun went down. Nate got a moto this summer, and no surprise, is fully hooked! It has been so fun to see him progress in such a little amount of time. He has all the right attributes...., a good attitude and a willingness to dust himself off when you fall! It is such a highly addictive sport.

Lil Helper
Dash has become quite the regular at my office. He swings by pretty close to daily to say whats up, hang with me while his mom goes to yoga, and, well, work on sitting up!
