 Not sure how many more Tuesdays we will be able to ride til dark without warmer layers on, but sure did enjoy the ability this past week to have warm weather and beautiful landscapes.  

Projects

 A start to finish photo montage of a project the family collectively made last weekend.  

Dash found some cardboard boxes and made an airplane.  

 And rode his bike on the jumps while Chels and I (Chels all the artsy stuff and me just the cutting of the wood) made a cool sign for the house.  

 We both kinda envisioned it together, but Chels' creativity won out on the design!

Weekend chillin

 Had a sweet swimming session at one of our favorite swimming holes last weekend then came back for some "jumps" too.

Built some jumps this weekend to add to our collection.

 My buds Chris and Charlie and myself took it big mileage wise last weekend in the run up to Lotoja in two weeks from now.  160 miles with all kinds of climbing.

Lake weekend

 Had a blast up on Jackson Lake last weekend camping and chilling with ol time buds.

Yes....., these two were celebrating their half birthdays!  Chels always says she wanted to celebrate her half birthday as a kid and never did, so, well, now Dash gets to via Chels!  Chels made cupcakes.  Johnny and Dash share the same birthday, but Dash is a year older (yea, Johnny is a big kid!).  

Art projects

 Dash was pumped to find "Chewie" behind his door in his room the other day.

 Dash and Chels have been Friday regulars at the Museum of Wildlife Art .  Super cool free program throughout the year doing fun arts and crafts projects.  

Work wanderings

I got to spend last week in Dallas, TX for a work conference.  It was a good time despite the heat and humidity.  

Managed to make it to  a Texas Rangers game.  

 The infamous "grass knoll" of the JFK assassination.  

 My hotels pool.  

 When I wasn't at the training, I was riding a bike!  Amazing group ride scene down in Dallas.  

 7k people strong at this conference.  

 I managed to navigate and figure out the bike world and downtown .  

 This rental got ridden hard while I was there.  

The food was......as you might imagine.  Plentiful and meat heavy!  

New improvements...

 We have been digging our weekly moto ride together on the weekends as a family.  There was a microburst of big winds that took down a bunch of aspen trees a while back which made for some log hopping with Dash last weekend.  

So excited about the new and improved trail up Big Munger.  Well done Friends of Pathways and USFS.  Awesome stuff.  

Out and about...

 Dash has always been a lover of Stevie, but here in the last couple of weeks that love has also translated to carrying around too!  

Flying a kite at a friends bday party last weekend.  We need to order one asap!
