Felt great to get out for a bit yesterday afternoon in what was our warmest day of the year so far to see the mountains and ride my bike back home from up north.

Dude...
All I can say is..... these damn leafy greens better taste good! A whole hell of a lot of effort has gone in already in my attempt to grow stuff around these parts. Everyone was warned me about the climate, the deer, the chislers, etc. Only measure I have not taken, and neighbors have said it is necessary for success, is to put chicken wire in the soil too to keep the varmits from coming up from underneath. But, I have a deer fence, and also a chisler fence too. Argh...

Almost there....
Dash and I put in another bed yesterday. Put the seeds in today. Now..., tomorrow just need to make it chizzler proof (smaller chicken wire) and hopefully it is all good to go. Between chizzlers and deers, everyone around these parts has given me ample warnings as to how difficult it is to get stuff to grow to the point of being able to eat it.

Whoa, that felt right....
Been having a hard time working from home finding my normal windows to ride my bike. Been spending more time on the trainer bike than is probably healthy. But, today I rode from the house and went up a bunch of canyons and had a bitchin ride.

First one...
If ya wanna go floating around these parts in April...., one must remove frozen snow banks.
Fully worth it! Great to get on the water on a nice day before the river gets high and muddy.
Dash....keeping his distance from Ted and Ben.
Ahh, so nice.

All in a day....
The Robinson crew had a damn fine day last weekend fitting in a lot of activities.
Sledded in the morning.
'
Then I biked from Togwotee down to Dubois.
Ahh, felt so good to be out of the snow. '

Things to do...
This warm weather the past week was such a welcomed treat. We got out and about.
And, built a tunnel for the snowmobile.
