The rear door to the garage....., aka a perfect little tester to see if we like colored doors and improved white trim.  I need to do at least another coat or two on it but I am liking it thus far.

 

All in a day...

 

Those that know me, know I dig a combo platter day of fun about as much as anything in life.  Last Sunday I did just that.

You know it is a new book from the library day when you get home and this is what the next hour looks like.

New but old....

About the only good thing I can think of with respect to parents getting older....., they give you their old gear that they no longer use anymore.  

My parents gave us their inflatable kayaks a while back.  I finally got around to inflating them and we went for an amazing September float last week.  Both had minor holes, but they still worked.  Cant wait to use them more in the years to come.

Dash's tennis teacher got a national award from the USTA.  So, we went to take pictures with her to support her award.  

More first day of school pics.  It is easy to see how much Dash grows when you compare September pics to June pics on the chinking.  

Taco will probably be about the same.

Middle day

We got to shed the big packs and swap them for day packs on the middle day of the trip.  We went on an all day hike that was so darn cool.  Saw 5 different lakes that day in total.  

 I went swimming in this one.
