So so good.

 It what has become a tradition at least a decade deep...., we went out to our favorite spot in the fall to kayak and get some GTNP solitude!

 I spent the end of the work week in Cheyenne for a meeting.  Always awesome to be in the state capital and take a side trip to the actual capital building.

Cda 2

 Super scary experience for GR, Dash, and Me while up in Cda.  We were out doing chores and a lighting strike hit what felt like a few feet away from us.  It turns out it was about 200 yards away in the neighbors yard.  Pretty wild what it did to these two massive pine trees!

I received an email a couple of weeks ago that I initially thought was spam and almost deleted it, but I opened it and found out that I was being invited to an awards ceremony down in SLC for what I didnt even know existed, a end of the season points race.  Apparently I got second in our region for points accumulated throughout the year.  Huh.  Well, I of course didnt drive down, and the hardware showed up in the mail today.  Guess it means I am going to have to go to ALL of the "local" races next year!

 Dash and I had a stellar weekend up in Cda last weekend visiting Grams and GR.
