Some things never get old....., such as heading over to Idaho and spending a weekend floating, fishing, and camping on the S. Fork of the Snake River. The catalyst for last weekend's float was to celebrate/spend time with our good bud Ted who is leaving Jackson for the next couple of years to go to grad school down in Boulder, CO.
Cody, Case, and myself on the first day of the overnight float, chillin.
Ahh, the beautiful canyon of the S. Fork.
The shirt says it all?
Nice Rolfe.
Our bud Jack made the trek up from SLC for the weekend. Stoked to have him aboard and slaying fish. Jacko caught the best fish of the weekend, an 18" brown, however, he let it go before we could get a shot of it.
Chels, Case, and Jack, pulled over just above our camp.
The crew pulled into our boat camp pretty early as the flows on the river are moving more like it is June instead of August. Luckily, that gave us plenty of time to indulge in swimming and celebrating Teddy!
Gormer Canyon #4 camp. Solid. We got a passing storm, but not bad enough to drive us from the fire.
The crew.
The Barber boat, with Colter keeping watch.
We swam like fish the whole float, stoked on the warm weather and cold water.
Teddy, with a few reasons to smile. Classic Teddy! Can only hope somewhere in the depths of grad school Teddy you find a way to keep as stoked as you are in this shot!
Gotta little weather toward the end of the float on Sunday.
