From Switzerland

Nadja, a friend from Switzerland that I ski raced with in college and haven't seen in almost 10 years, finally made a trip back to the states and we got to show her around last week. She is traveling around the states for 3 weeks, driving from Denver to Jackson to Bozeman to Oregon and visiting college friends along the way. Luckily we got her for a couple nights, but it was tough to try to pack all of Jackson's awesomeness into a day.

First stop, the Tetons, duh. She felt stupid posing by herself, but I think she will be happy later. : )

I decided to hop in the pic to keep her company.

Then we did a hike around String and Leigh Lake to Bearpaw Lake with strange gale-force winds and white-capping waters...kind of a strange cold summer day to experience.

Luckily, after we finished the hike the sun came out so we went check out Mormon Row and get more shots of the Tetons from a scenic drive out Antelope Flats. Here is Nadja jumping for joy!

But, I think by far, Nadja's favorite American experience of the day was our stop at Dairy Queen for her first ever Blizzard. She is hooked! So fun to catch up with an old friend.
