Weekend of Sleddin...

Chels was gone all weekend in Boise for ski races. I of course used this as an excuse to do nothing but sled all weekend long. The winter keeps on being awesome with good, consistent dumps.
We rode up out of Alpine, WY and the Greys River network for a big 80 mile ride on Saturday. As we were crusing up the timber along Murfey Creek we saw this nice, big bull elk.

Sunday we went and explored a new location that I had been wanting to scope for years. Not that anyone actually looks at this blog for snowmobiling locations, but where we went on Sunday was awesome enough that I am going to withhold the exact locations. Suffice to say it is close to town, has awesome views of the Tetons, the terrain was amazing, and we didn't see anyone else around sledding for miles..

Above Tim managed to find a creek bed and was in deep. When you get in a pickle like this one, you can only hope that your 500lb machine is pointing downhill!

After spending tons of time playing in the meadows, we throttled up and topped out on this ridge that, despite the grey day, gave us amazing views of the Tetons, Yellowstone Plateau, Wind Rivers, Gros Ventures, et.

Finding and exploring new terrain on the sled is awesome!
