So Cal Livin'

Last week we visited San Diego and Trevor's grandparents, Grannie De and Grandpa Jim for the first couple days of our vacation. It was great being able to see and spend time with both sides of his family while we were in the neighborhood...thanks everyone for such a great time!

Under the bridge downtown....okay, actually this is under the freeway, our little "nature" walk in San Diego, haha.

Trev with Grannie De and his cousin, Clai, in the background.

We celebrated a mini-Christmas while we were all together. Here is Grandpa Jim lounging by the giant Christmas tree.

You can see where Trev gets his good looks!

On Thanksgiving morning, we hopped on the train and road it up the coast from San Diego to Santa Barbara...thanks Linda for the early early ride to the train station!

Our ride approaching...now this is the way to travel on the holidays, it was nowhere near full, no traffic to deal with and you could sleep! Luxury travel!

Look at this view... and lucky us, the ride was like this most of the way up the coast.

Sometimes this lifestyle looks so ideal, sand, palm trees and sunshine forever. I think I would miss snow, but this sure is beautiful .

Look at the guy I had to ride next to, what a nuisance.

Ah yes...we made it! Walking the beach in front of the beach house in Santa Barbara, shoes off, sand in the toes, sunshine....mmmm....

And some natural beach art beauty.
