Garmisch, Germany, Part Even Better

Top of the Zugspitze lift, highest point in Germany! Luckily we got one clear day while in Germany and managed to get after it! Took a sweet tram to the very top of Germany, and then skied some leftover powder from there.

The traveling posse....Lizzy, Chels, Me, and Timbo.

The freaking Alps are badass! Highest point in Germany and points beyond.

Chels getting ready to load the Zugspitze. To get some perspective of how badass this tram was, have a look at the peaks in the background of the picture. Yep, the tram went from the loading dock all the way to the top of that huge peak in the background. Uh huh.

The view from Germany was pretty rad, so, we decided to walk to the other side of the platform and see what the view from Austria looked like. Lizzy, in Austria, looking across the way to Germany!

I think it gets stormy up here? Garmisch way below.

Chuck, Lizzy, Me, Rolfe, Lil J and TImbo, nothing but t bars, huge peaks, and leftover powder.

Abbreviated spread eagle?

This shot best illustrates how kick ass this lift was. Look down the tram line and if you look hard, you can see the loading dock some 5,000ft below in the trees. Insane right!

Das Stoked.

Figure eleven's are cool no matter what country you are in.
Love that Euro's don't "go off piste." If you wanna ski powder days after a storm in bounds, go to Europe!

Chels getting ready to drop into the abyss....."Holy shit these mountains are big."

I said something about having the whole ski area to ourselves? Chels, reveling in the untouched pow.

Quite the day on the top of Germany!
