Drop it like its hot.

Seems there is never a shortage of things to explore and do depending on the time of the year.  The Snake River is still too high and dirty to fish right now, so, last weekend we headed over to the Hoback River and nailed it.  The Hoback can be wade fished all through the summer, but to float it is another story.  It is normally about a 10 day window for floating each summer when its clean enough to fish and when it gets too low to take a raft down.  It's a sweet little river that has awesome fishing.

Cody, with a lil cuttie.
Where you might see 40 boats on the river in a day on the Snake......., we didn't see a single one on the Hoback in 8 hours of floating.  There are no established boat launches, so, you have to locate pullouts from the highway and winch your boat down to the river.
