We Heart NY

We just got back tonight from a really cool long weekend trip to NYC. It is such an amazingly fun place to visit when you are coming from a town that has as many residents as one of NYC's city blocks. We scored all kinds of fun things that are pretty tough to find here in western Wyoming!
My sister is living, working, and going to school right now in NYC, so, that was the main catalyst for visiting and it was great to see and hang with her.

Chels entering into the subway in Harlem.

The obligatory stop off in Times Square. We managed a healthy dose of touristy type of activities, and then also a bunch that were kinda locals only recommendations and way off the normal tourist beat.

We went up the Empire State Building the last time were were in NYC (04), so, we just took pictures of it this time. Although the NYC marathon is next weekend, we honestly walked close to a half marathon pretty much everyday that we were there!

Me, emerging from the depths of the underground on the subway somewhere at a station in "mid-town" .
