Sled Skiing & Murder Mysteries

Another great weekend in the books! On Saturday, Ted, Trev and I took the snowmobile up Angle Mountain on Togwotee Pass. It is where they used to run a cat-skiing operation that went under not too long ago. Ted and I brought our skis (Trev was happy being our shuttle driver and just sledding!) and Trev shuttled us up to the top, one at a time.

Here are Ted and I at the top of Angle Mountain ready to ski down some untracked goodness. It looked like powder, but ended up having a funky crust that we kept breaking through, still a blast though.

Here we are at the top again after we took our first run...lunch, beers, sunshine and a killer view of the Tetons. Doesn't get much sweeter, that is, until....

Trev tries to start the sled again and it is dead. At the top. We tried an hour revival process to no avail, so a not-too-happy Trevor had to walk all the way to the car. If you click on this pic, you see Ted skiing on the left (we went slow with Trev), Trev walking down the snowmobile tracks in the center and the parking lot is that small square above and to the left of Trevor's head.

Here is Trev finally getting back to the car with Angle Mountain in the background. (He went with a friend to tow the sled down today).

After that we had a quick transition, got home just in time to change for our friend Tom Holland's surprise 30th birthday Murder Mystery party!

And everyone went all out with their outfits, it turned out to be a blast!

Don't worry, they're fake! My character was "Cindy Butt", the cigarette waitress at the saloon, so I got to sell bubblegum cigarettes to everyone. Allison and me, playing the part.

Tom on the far right getting sung to.

Trevor was the bootlegger, "Bernie Booze", needless to say he was very stoked with his casting. Here he is conspiring with Jim "Southside Sal", probably about something dirty.

Sarah "Flora Nemetz" Mann and me, loving our feathers.

Ted was "Police Chief Cameron" and also ended up being the murderer, here he is getting cuffed by J.K. "Snakes McGee".

It was so fun getting dressed up, we figured maybe we should make this an annual mystery!

Here is our good-looking crew...thanks for the great night everyone!
