Tis the last of the backpacking shots from last weekend. All the rest of the pic's are from the day we hiked out from Basin Lakes to the White Grass Ranger Station.
Me, grabbing some fresh runoff water. We have been messing with many of the modes on our new camera.
Heading to Static Divide from Buck Divide. There were a couple of sketchy zones along the way.
Chels getting close to Static Divide. I am biased, but I think this is the best and most amazing section of trail in all of the Tetons.
Hell yea, so sweet. Looking down into the abyss that is Death Canyon.
On top of Static Peak, with Buck and the Grand Teton in the background.
It was sunny and warm and close to 12,000ft. Pretty rad.
What backpack would be complete without some huckleberry gathering? We filled two Tupperware of the delicacies for this winter and making waffles.

Thanks for the adventures. I'm one of those miscellaneous lurkers to your blog. Found it through Marco's and Anna's blogs. I'm a world cup ski nut living in Lander. This hike looks amazing and I've made a note of it for next summer. Looks like some of those snow fields are going to be around for some years to come.
